The time has come

Alex is about to GRADUATE from Medical Lake High School.

The big day is June 5th.

He plans to attend EWU this fall.

He's looking for a job that will work well with a college school schedule... Ideas anyone???

He's growing up quite nicely... I guess he was a handful when he was young :)

Grandma Mary has done a wonderful job of raising up a find young man.

He dreams of working with wolves one day.

Part-time Empty Nesters

It's official... we are mid-week empty-nesters.

Cortnie has moved to Bellingham until the end of August. She seems to be having a great time. Hopefully she'll be able to keep her grades up! I have faith that she will... It's not like I had anything to do with her getting her work done while she was here, so hopefully it's not that different there.

Alex will be graduating in June and has been accepted into Eastern. He's excited for this new adventure and really pumped about the Senior play he's participating in soon. Seniorites has set in so hopefully he'll get all his classwork in and finish up that Senior Project! :)

Kiara stays with us on the weekends. She still loves dressing up (many weekends she puts on a pretty outfit when she arrives on Friday and takes it off before she goes home on Sunday). She has an old pair of Cortnie's heals that Tilly's chewed up that she wears faithfully. She'd love it if we forgot to make her take them off before she left the house to go anywhere.

Kristina & Scott are coming home! Cortnie and I just booked our flights to fly down and help them drive their cars back up! We're so excited. They think they've found a new apartment complex to live in by Midway! Looks awesome!

Mom and David are checking out places to stay this summer. They may do some housesitting for a place on the Coeur d' Alene lake. Brian and I will hopefully be checking it out this weekend.

Weekends alone

They are few and far between but we've actually had two in the past month!

God must be preparing me for Cortnie's new adventure to Bellingham. She's moving there in a few weeks to live with her friends in a college house. She'll be attending Whatcom Community College as well as SFCC (online). This will be good for her to get away and be on her own.... I'm sure she'll handle it better than I will. I will MISS her!

But when she gets back Kristina and Scott will be here too! August can't come any too soon!

Time off is almost over

The time is drawing near... much too near. Kristina goes back to Yuma tomorrow. It's been such a joy having her and Audrie here. It will be a sad morning for our family. I'm so happy that Scott will be home so soon after she gets home. Then time will hopefully fly by quickly until next fall when they can move back home. (Hopefully ... Nothing is set in stone yet)

We are praying for clarification for both of them, but especially Scott, that the Lord will give him direction for schooling and a place to live and provide good jobs for them both while they jump into a new adventure together... Life NOT in the military.

Tilly will miss Audrie too! They have become such good buddies...
