Then we went camping

Remember these friends? We went on our annual grade school friends camping trip to Priest. This year Liz, Tammy, Linda and I all made appearances. (Linda and I crossed paths for about 10 minutes!)

Mission Trip

What a week we had! Brian, Cortnie and I went on a mini mission trip to Metalline to paint the town hall (not red) with some families from church. We camped at Sullivan lake. The pastor is quite 'outdoorsy' and has a high ropes course on his property that we did on Thursday evening. The on Friday he took us all on a canoe/kayaking trip that included rock climbing and rock jumping. Quite an experience!

Joleen was baptized! Woo Hoo!!!

Several of us got to celebrate with Joleen as she was baptized last Sunday. It was awesome!
















The popsicles were yummy, too! Way to go mommy!

Diva in the making...

We brought a kid-size recliner home from Kiara's mom's house cause she didn't have room for it. We put it in the front yard and sprayed it down to clean it and then left it in the sun to dry. Kiara spent the rest of the weekend sunbathing in the front yard whenever she had a chance. Oh the life of a diva!

School play

Alex was the lead in his school play last May! He played Stanley Sippowitz (sp?) in 'The Last comic Standing'. He did a great job! Afterwards he even gave his baby sis a big hug... this is rare indeed! And I captured it in a kodak moment! Way to go-stepmom :)

I can't believe I caved

Like I don't have a million other things to do beside keep up a blog page! But here I go anyway...









I can't believe summer is 1/2 over already! We're going on a mini mission trip up to Metalline Falls next week with some families from work to paint the town hall... We'll end the week camping at Priest with Liz and Tammy and hopefully Julie (High School Friends). Grandma and David will babysit Tilly, our new puppy and the big dogs while we're gone.












Cortnie is babysitting the neighbor girl and Kiara part time to earn some money. Kiara is REALLY enjoying the pool and learned to swim under water yesterday with the mask on. Woo Hoo!













Kristina is coming to visit in August! Woo Hoo! We can't wait to see her. We also can't wait for Aunt Ju to get here and go visit her on the house boat!
